I am in the process of restoring a 1986 Outrage 20. I am considering a fuel tank replacement. I need the technical drawing for a 77-gallon fuel tank that measures 70-inches long and 22-inches wide. Any info is greatly appreciated.--Honza

Unfortunately, drawings are not available to the public.

The original manufacturer, Florida Marine Tanks (FMT) in Henderson, SC still produces replacement tanks that are the factory specifications. If you are on the eastern seaboard, albeit south of Boston, I would order a tank from them. If farther away, the shipping costs make it expensive.

Many owners remove the existing tank and have a local fabricator make you one.

You can search the archives for many threads on how to techniques.

To have an exact replacement tank fabricated, remove the original tank and use it as a pattern or model for the replacement tank to be fabricated.
