Durabak as a Spray-on Material on Deck Surface

In the process of restoring a 13-footer, I have decided to spray Durabak on the interior [cockpit deck] of the boat.
Q: should I spray Durabak Smooth or Durabak Textured.
Give me your recommendation.
When I typically use the boat I will be barefoot so the smooth would be a nice finish. I’m worried the smooth finish will show imperfections more than the textured finish would. I feel like the textured would better fill in and hide any precious repairs and minor glazing.
I’ve also heard the textured can be a real pain to clean. I will also have my dog with me and textured may be easier for a dog to get grip.
