I am the original buyer of new a 2016 170 MONTAUK. While cleaning the interior of the center console I see three separate clear tubes: all three are disconnected. Two may have gone to two cup holders.

Where does the third clear tube go?

Check your owner's manual.

[The third clear tube might drain the] pole lamp receptacle on the top of the console.

Perhaps [the three clear tubes are] to drain for one or more rod holders.

If the boat were larger, I would suspect [the third clear tube is for use as a] power steering fill tube.

On my 2003 170 MONTAUK I also found [in the interior of the center console] there were three [clear drain] tubes. I have not found a third connection for one of the tubes. Maybe [the third clear drain tube in the center console of my 170 MONTAUK] was a spare tube for an accessory.

My Montauk 170 has three drain tubes in the center console:
—two drains tubes are for two cup holders
—a third drain tube is for the bottom of the mounting socket on the top of the console for the white all-round navigation lamp pole.
