1987 Montauk 17: Keeping Deck Corners Dry

On my 1987 MONTAUK 17 boat, I find water stays on the desk and in the corners, but eventually the water makes its way to the [sump area] in the center or the boat.
What is a nice solution to keeping the deck corners dry?
