1988 REVENGE 20 W-T Trailer Bunks

Postby floater » Sat Apr 16, 2022 7:08 pm

[On trailers rigged with two pair of bunks, inner and outer] the two outer bunks will be taller than the inner closer-to-the keel bunks.

On my 1988 Revenge 20 WT, where the two outer bunks will be, it is over 14 inches in height above the keel.

I can only find 12-inch bunk mounts. I do not believe that will be tall enough.

Q1: Is there a fix for [a height of 14-inches above the keel in a 1988 REVENGE 22 W-T for the outer bunks]?

I do not have the Revenge on the new trailer yet.

I've mounted the twin keel rollers at the mid cross section and a single at the rear cross section. The bunks just look too low where they are now. I've pushed them outwards away from the keel centre line and they will only be about 8-inches above the keel rollers. They will fit on the outside of the first hull chines about 21-inches from the keel.

I think if you do some measuring, you will find the hull will sit well. The chine will rest a few inches above and inside the fenders.
