Do you have the original cables on hand?
What sort of helm is on the RAGE 14?
Assuming the steering is a manual mechanical single cable system, the cable is probably a part fitted into the helm, not something separate from the helm. Inspect the helm to locate a manufacturer name and model designator.
Once you identify the helm manufacturer and model, you can measure the cable length. The OEM manufacturer of the helm can supply a replacement cable of the desired length.
