Using Uflex Cables with Teleflex NFB Cable Steering

Postby thum » Wed Nov 16, 2022 12:43 pm

Q1: cables sold by Uflex be used with a Teleflex NoFeedBack (NFB) mechanical cable steering system?

Q2: would cables sold by Teleflex and cables made by Ufex connect in the same way to a Teleflex NoFeedBack mechanical cable steering system?

BACKSTORY
I need to replace a missing steering cable on my 13-footer that has a TeleFlex No-Feedback (NFB) mechanical cable steering system

I can buy either a 10-foot Teleflex cable or a 10-foot Uflex cable. The cost of the Uflex cable is $60 less than the Teleflex cable

I cannot tell the difference between the two cables. They seem to both have a similar quick-disconnect-cable termination.

According to the Uflex catalog, their M66 cable is compatible with the Teleflex NFB helm.

I must have missed that. I’ll purchase the UFLEX M66 10-foot cable. Thank you.
