Sources for Center Console and Reversible Pilot Seat

I have removed the wood from my SUPER SPORT 17. and I would like to convert it to a Montauk.

Specialty Marine sell consoles for $1,700 and the seats for around $1.000.

Q1: what other vendors offer replacement consoles and seats?

To find used console and seat may be difficult.

The price at specialty marine with a windshield and the grab rail with the teak doors is over $2900. You can select the options you want.

I would not recommend SM as a vendor. Far too many complaints.

There are vendors who offer better quality for close to the same prices.

For the RPS Seat:

The one component that is not available are the Z legs.

As for console, Choats or Angel's makes a very good reproduction.

The prices quoted above seem extraordinarily high. Shipping to Norway will be expensive and there may be delays in customs. Shipping damage is another consideration.

An alternative is to obtain construction drawings and check the costs to fabricate the parts from a local craftsman. An advantage would be the option of selecting the type and grade of wood to be used and to have it varnished to your specifications.

There are measured drawings for the teak seatback and the swing arms available.

I think we could come up with measured drawing for the Z legs and the seat cushion/base.
