Revenge head cover

Postby Jcomeau0 » Mon Jan 02, 2023 1:27 pm

Is the wooden cover for the portable head in my 1988 Revenge 22’ WT the same dimensions as the cover on a 20’ WT? I’d like to get the cover and have located one for a 20’

I am quite sure that an OEM accessory from either a 20 or 22 REVENGE would fit in either model.

I have had two REVENGE boats, a REVENGE 20 W-T and a REVENGE 22 W-T Whaler Drive. As far as I can tell the cabin interior dimensions for the 20 and 22 are the same. I made a filler panel for my REVENGE 20 W-T and later moved it to my REVENGE 22 W-T, and the fit was identical.

A REVENGE 20 or 22 Walk-Through would have included (unless it was an option, and I don't recall if it was or not) a craftily-designed wooden accessory that served two purposes: in one orientation it became a small table that fitted in place at the forward end of the cabin seats, and in the other orientation it became a cover for the optional in-cabin Porta-Potti.

We did NOT want to have the Porta-Potti in the cabin on our REVENGE boats because we were going to be using the cabin for overnight sleeping aboard the boat--something we have done hundreds of nights in the past 20 years. The idea of sleeping next to the not particularly odor-free toilet was not appealing.

I can't say for certain, but I think I have that wooden accessory somewhere the basement. I have never used it, but as with many items related to boats, I have not discarded it, either. I will have to look for it the next time I am up north at the cabin.
