Menemsha 1965 Gas Strut

Postby Azeriegert@gmail.com » Fri Jan 20, 2023 6:29 pm

I am looking for the original manufacturer for the gas struts that hold the gull wing doors open. I have linked to some pictures for reference. Technical data would also help if there is any.

    1965 Menemsha
    20” Gas Strut
    14” Gas Strut Compressed

You may need to move the base position slightly as there is no 14" rather 12".

Select the version from the drop down box:

Thanks. I tried one of the new struts, and they are not quite the same as the original struts. The connection is the problem. I was hoping to buy the original struts if the company was still around.
