The easiest way to re-finish wood is with a checkbook.

For advice on wood refinishing methods, see the article in the REFERENCE section at:

Wood Care and the Boston Whaler Boat
by Brian N. Blazer
http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/whalerWood.html

The article also contains hyperlinks to more articles on wood finishing. There are also many prior discussions on this topic. You can search for more articles with the SEARCh function at

There are several companies who have been in the somewhat boutique business of providing replacement wooden components for Boston Whaler boats. See a listing of them at

Original Equipment Manufacturers and
Recommended Vendors

http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/OEM.html

There are generally two distinct types of people who own Boston Whaler boats:

--people who like to work with wood, wood tools, sand paper, sawdust, wood dust, cleaners, solvents, resins, stains, finishes, and other products, and

--people who like to keep wood well-cared for so they don't need any of the stuff listed above
