Q1: are twin 2017 SUZUKI DF300 engines “too much” for a 2003 275 CONQUEST.

What is too much power? There are thousands of boats successfully operating with more power than the boat is rated for. I believe he weight of the engines is a more critical factor than the horsepower. Horsepower is easily controlled by throttle position.
