The Non-Cruise of 2020

Postby jimh » Tue May 25, 2021 1:35 pm

I noticed that there have been no cruise reports from 2020. For myself, the inability to enter Canada by boat was one cause of my failure, for the first time in many years, to undertake a cruise of a week's duration or longer with my boat in 2020. And even for cruising within the United States, the pandemic seemed to inhibit any serious boating adventures. I hope to resume cruising in 2021.

We suffered through the summer of 2020 with boating only in short local cruises of a hour or two. We have really missed living aboard the boat for several days or a week, while exploring the beautiful northern Great Lakes of Huron and Michigan.

Our current boat is a non stay aboard and that has really limited cruising.
