Mercury Parts to Connect SmartCraft to NMEA-2000 Network

Postby Jefecinco » Sun Aug 09, 2020 11:09 am

We recently connected our 190 Montauk's SmartCraft gauges to provide engine information to a Simrad GO9 MFD. This information is not a "how to" article but a report on the interface electronic parts needed and the prices paid at our Mercury dealer, MarineMax Gulf Shores.

1. Gateway Mercury Part# MM4208122 Cost $440

2. Junction Box - 6 way Mercury Part# MM1182880 Cost $ 66

3. Weather Cap Mercury Part# MM122222 Cost $ 10

Items number 2 and 3 are, I believe, available from multiple sources. Quantity required of each part was 1. MarineMax agreed to match the on-line prices found plus tax. We had a previously installed NMEA-2000 network for the MFD to VHF (Simrad RS35) connection.

We have since sold the Montauk.
