How can power and control wiring be routed from the center console to each gunwale to control lamps installed under the gunwale on a 1999 Boston Whaler 17 OUTRAGE boat?

I will appreciate all suggestions. Thanks.

On 1999 17 OUTRAGE boats there must be a wiring path from the center console to the transom area, usually denoted as a rigging tunnel, in order to carry the steering cables and the engine remote control harness and the engine remote shift and throttle controls to the engine from the console.

Electrical wiring can that provides power to lamps installed under the gunwale can be routed to those lamps on the gunwale by running the wiring from the console, into the rigging tunnel, then at the stern branching the wiring to each gunwales, and running the wiring forward, under the gunwales, to where the lamps will be installed.

Thanks [for advice to use the rigging tunnel to carry new wiring between the stern and the center console on an OUTRAGE 17].

[I will] run everything from console to stern, then run out to the gunwales.

I will remove the rub rail and run [the new wiring] forward from the stern.

ASIDE
I want to do a complete re-wiring on my Outrage 17 boat in Winter 2023-2024. I have much planning to do. I plan to remove the center console completely and open up the main hatches in the deck to expose [the underlying areas of the hull] as much as I can.

I can get a good cleaning done in there while I'm at it.
