Hello All,
I have decided to purchase the 13'Sport I spoke of yesterday. I will be using it in a tidal area and was interested in what anyone could tell me about installing power trim on the boat. It is an '89 sport with an early 90's 40hp merc. I understand that it is likely to be expensive but I was wondering just how expensive and if I were to try to price one, where should I go? Also, where is the best place to purchase a service manual and/or owners manual for both the boat and the motor?
One more thing, is there a way to search on this site. I have a feeling that I may be asking for old news. Thanks to all who respond.

Cabela's lists a couple different power trim units $289.00 to $500.00.
Any Mercury dealer can get you a manual for the motor.
If you contact Boston Whaler you can get the boat manual.
Happy Boating
