What kind of adapter do you need? How was your old steering hooked up?
The new system should hook up the same way.
Give me a little more info. I would guess that you need a transom mount standoff for the cable and a clevis kit to attach it to the motor.
I'll e-mail you some information

I had old teleflex steering system.(OEM) that mounted to a 115 hp Johnson (1969). I'm trying to put a new 4.2 NFB steering system in. It appears I need a new transom mount. I was on the teleflex home page and they had on in there. Would that one work with my boat and do you know where I can order one from. Thanks

I'll e-mail you a couple pictures with part numbers.
They should be available through West Marine.
