Saw another topic about tilt / trim problems. The t/t motor on my 92/93 Johnson works but the engine does not raise. This probably points to the fluid being low. Where abouts is the re-fill point for the trim / tilt? I looked around and couldn't come up with anything.

Through a little hole on the side of the engine bracket, you should see a symbol that indicates something should turn through here. That's where you insert the screw driver to disengage the valves in the system so you can manually tilt the engine. Insert screwdriver and turn. (my explicit instructions are at home with the kit installation instructions).

If prior to turning that screw, you could actually tilt the engine using the brute force method, then the problem was likely that the valve was open. If you had no luck using the brute force method to tilt the engine, then releasing that valve should allow you to tilt the engine and access the fill screw located in the vicinity of the pump.

Honestly, I've never had to add any fluid to mine, so I have never done anything but read this in the instruction book.
