I have the base for the outriggers to be mounted on the sheppards crook on the center console. I don't use outriggers for my type of fishing so I am going to list these for sale, just need to get a general idea of what the going price would be. I did use the search function but didn't come up with much. Any suggestions on price? They are in great shape and came off of a 21' 1975 OR that was a freshwater boat for the last 33 years....

Would you let the fox guard your henhouse?

Seriously, though, about $500 seems to be the going price.

Jeff, you have mail.

I did see them listed for around $500 in the past but wasn't sure if that was still the same going rate. If anyone else is interested please post and I'll e-mail you directly. After my last experiences with "friend99" I pulled my e-mail off of here long ago.

I recently sold mine with a set of like new Lee Outriggers for 1K. It's a very rare item.

Wow, Dan, that's a great price, and a new high from what I can tell. I was not intentionally trying to lowball the seller in my initial post. Just didn't know they went for that much.

Last I saw it on ebay, it barely cleared $200 at close of auction. Whats the secret?

Marketing is the secret. One thousand bucks!

I congratulate you!

I bought mine on ebay a few years back for $320.

It was the middle of the winter when I got mine. I imagine it may have gone for more money in the summertime when people are looking for boat stuff.

I think that $500 would be a fair price.

I can send pictures if anyone is interested, going to have to wait until Saturday for them to be sent out though. I updated my e-mail, feel fee to send me any questions you may have through there (or post on here). $500 + shipping and they are yours.

Rick I sold it without eBay's "help." It's not a lot of money. Go on Lee's website and see what a pair of 16 foot outriggers with stainless elbows cost -- over $450. Try buying something that's no longer made, and which comes on the market maybe twice a year, if you're lucky. Sure, everybody has to put in their two-cents saying it's only worth this or that. However, these same people are not in the market for the item, and if the item was available for this or that price, they wouldn't pony up the money. I wouldn't have let it go for less. Why should I? For less, I may as well install it on my 18 Outrage.

Please post a picture of the item in question.
I am sure that all the interested parties would like to view the item in question and appreciate for themselves the quality of the part that has presently been put of for sale.

Good for you for getting what you did. Its worth what you can sell it for.
