I have a 1989 20' Outrage which I suspect may have water in the hull. My suspision is caused by the fact that the transom drain holes are about 2" underwater when the boat is at rest. This rig carries a 1989 200 HP Johnson and two batteries mounted at the stern. This winter I removed the two brass drain tubes which I found were all corroded. Could this be a source of water entry into the hull? Is there a way of drilling weep holoes into the hull bottom to check for water and if so were would be the best entry points? Any comments would be much appreciated.

I was also told by my marine guy that there might be some water in my hull, if you find any info about how to get it out with our fliping the boat over please drop me a line,
thank you
