Is there a wireing diagram available for the 18 foot 1985 outrage? I've got the floor off and plan to replace switches and most wires. Thank you

No wiring diagram that I know of. It would be somewhat irrelevant anyway. So much depends on what you have and are going to install.

John - I totaly rewired my 85 18, with the floor up. Couple things - be sure to use only the best marine copper wire available,
and solder all connections. This ensures long lasting durability and reliable connections. Finally, be sure and check your grounding wires (green) that connect the gas tank and filler cap to the water ground disk (starboard side, transom outside bottom). Be certain all connections are excellent; if not, then replace. Very important stuff. Only other recommendation to you is to check carefully the fill hose (large), especially at the 90. On the underside (not easily visible), mine had almost rotted through, with the serious gas leak potential. I replaced all hoses with red stamped USCG hoses. Did NOT want ANY problems. Take pictures and measurements for your records, too. I can send you some diagrams/photos of mine if you'd like - I'm in Fla today but when I get back to big computer at home I can email them if you wish. Best, Mav

Mav, Thank you - very helpful. I also am in process of replacing the tank so hoses are totally new. I have been taking digital photos of the process. If I run into trouble on the wiring I may ask for the email diagram.
Thank you
