Any suggestions on STOWING water skis while underway on a 15" GLS?

On my Montauk, I bungie the skis to the
side rails. The vertical part of the rail
and the little short 1" horizontal piece
get covered with the appropriate size
car heater hose slit lengthwise.

You may be able to something similar with
your GLS.

Thanks, I've looked into that but it looks like my particular skis would also have to rest on the fiberglass. Even with some sort of padding I'm afraid with all the bouncing the boat does (and with my luck) that it wouldn't be too long before I was looking to do more glass repairs. Anything else...?

Overtons has a ski carrier that is designed to mount with screws to the aft deck of a run-about. You may be able to rig it with a detachable mount. Good luck! chad (
