I have a 2000 Montauk with rails. I would appreciate your ideas on good trolling motor set up. I had my dealer (parker boats-orlando) tell me I would have to put in on the transom as it the rail would prevent front mount? True? Ideas? Thanks!!

Howdy, GuyNole.

Your dealer gets an F in creativity.

You will have Email shortly of a Minn-Kota bow mount, with quick remove mount, on a Montauk, with rails.

Red sky at night. . .

Hey guynole, I just read the post on trolling motor and rails on your montauk. Did you get the pix of the power drive on the bow? I saw some on a late model montauk but the bow rail had been removed. If you have the photos, could you e-mail them to me at; cause I may never find this BB site again. Thx. biloxi blue
