Has anyone used these units? These seem to offer some neat features, like being able to paint structure and fish infront of the boat (as well as the usual straigh down way) -- but I can't find anyone here who has used them.

Howdy, Morocco.

I bought an Interphase Scout but didn't mount it because of the huge and awkward transducer module.

I sold it to my son-in-Law. He mounted it on his Outrage but I haven't heard anything from him, positive or negative, about it.

Considering the price I think I would have heard something if it wasn't performing as advertised.

Red sky at night. . .

Interphase is WAY overdue for some new units.
You get more LCD resolution for $99 now than
Interphase gives you.

My neighbor has the forward looking unit...He does not like how far it sticks down in the water below the hull and was dissatisfied with it's forward looking ability...Dave
