Could you tell me what is faster, A 13 with a 20hp older hull with the blue inside, or a 11 with a 15hp.

Too many variables here to say with conviction, 11, but my intuition says that the 13 would be as fast as or faster than an 11 with the same engine.

If the 13 were using a properly propped and set up 20, then, I would expect it to be faster than an 11 with a properly propped and set up 15.

Red sky at night. . .

Thanks. The 11' has a new mercury with 12 hours on it, and the 13' has a 198? marina. They both have the props that came with thm when new. The kid who owns the 13 wants to race, I think I have a chance because I know that his hull is not dry and mine is. I think I will race him on halloween around dust. should be noone out on there boats then.

If engines are in reasonable tune and with correct props the 13 will be the faster! Have had both rigs and that's my experience so put money on the 13... happy Whalin'... Clark... Spruce Creek Navy

ratherwhalering ,
Do you want the over or the under? :)

what about weaght ?
He is about 160lds.
I am 91lds.
If I race him how much gas should I carry and should I put the tank on the bow?
And his hull is not dry. I think it will be close.
