Becaue of this forum I have become too much a perfectionist. I just pulled my hubs, cleaned them, inspected, repacked, and put new buddies on. I noticed that although both are spinning freely, one seems to be spinning less freely than the other. Ofcourse I have no idea if I am using the same spin pressure, but it does seem like one is a bit tighter. I backed the lug off each 1/4 turn prior to cotter pin replacement so Im pretty sure i did that correctly. Am I being to picky/ perinoid?

Get a torque wrench in the right range and
use that. On my trailer, it's 20 INCH pounds.
I've gotten a beam type in this range from
NAPA auto parts (they had to order it) and
a click type from Sears. Both are 1/4" drive,
and sockets the size of the nut are 1/2"
drive, so you'll need 1/4" to 3/8" and 3/8"
to 1/2" adapters.
