Here are some numbers on our 1994 Outrage 24 with her single 225HP Johnson. Fuel consumption data is not available. This information was obtained with a ten to fifteen mile-per-hour headwind, moderate chop, and minimal current. Two people were aboard, approximately one hundred gallons of fuel, and moderate gear. The bimini top was in the arch position, but zipped up in its boot. The numbers are from a Garmin GPS.

3400 RPM 24.4 MPH
3500 RPM 25.3 MPH
3700 RPM 26.8 MPH
4100 RPM 30.9 MPH
5000 RPM 37.5 MPH
5400 RPM 40.7 MPH

The engine is mounted on the third hole from the top and is swinging a 17" OMC Viper propeller. Next, the numbers for the lower end of the RPM range will be recorded. The boat stays on a solid plane at 3100 RPM's as above. That's quite impressive considering her bulk and weight.

Do you have trim tabs on her?

P., i kinda feel your gps just might be off, as those are really impressive speeds for that big of a boat with only that much hp on her.
If i'm wrong, thats some darn good speeds with a 22five [ printer wont print the number five ].

She has a flush mounted tabs which appear at first glance, relative to the boat's size, small. However, they must be positioned perfectly, as slight adjustments are all that is necessary to keep her level in a cross wind.

Sal if your using a 101 K-B there should be another 5 button, if its a laptop there is probally a dual function key that produces a 5.
