Looking on info for trailer size for a 1994 13'GLS.
Loadrite, 5STAR, and Sea Lion are readily available locally.
What do you recommend?

I like aluminum trailers personally. Being a 13' anything you get a good deal on will work. Go with 12" tires and definately at least galvinized.

Fred, the brands listed are reputable manufacturers. Unless you want to spend the extra money, A Galvanized trailer should do just fine. However,I would advise you to go with 13" tires if you plan to do any long distance road travel with your boat. If you do go with an aluminum trailer, many manufacturers dealers in the Gulf Coast area warn you of the possibility the trailer will float due to how light they are for their size.

I have seen tandem trailers float but never a single axle. I agree on the big tires but for a 13' the 13" might make it VERY high off the ground which will be a pain to launch and retrieve(possibly).

I have 13" tires for my 13' whaler....I have to back the trailer in quite a ways, but never a big issue....Also, I have 4wheel drive so I always put in in 4WD while launching/retrieving...Those wheels sure make it nice down the hiway
