I have a 1984 15ft whaler which i just installed a brand new 90 yamaha, I'm trying to figure out what prop i should run to get maximum performace across a wide range of uses (speed and hauling)if anyone has any information please help.

90 HP! Wow. Prop selection will be very important for this boat.

I run a Michigan Wheel 19' Pitch on mine and there is very little hull in the water at full throttle (that's with a 70 HP Evinrude).

Be careful! I think Sal DeMercurio can probably help.

Has been discussed before and the consensus is a 21" pitch OEM prop or a 19-21" Stiletto or Rapture which has more cup.
