There has been a new feature added the the Mariners Eye View (for both G2 & G2 Vision Chart diaplays) by the version 3.10 software update. It has to do with XM display functionality and having the capability to view 3-D annimated realtime NORAD TS info in this mode.

This is one of the reasons I prefer Garmin chartplotters. Garmin doesn't sit around and just fix bugs they continually add good sound additional functionalities to their existing units.

Here is a video of the new feature.

ED I take some vids of the engine displays later today.

Thanks Tom

150 clams is not too bad to have fuel managment for my Etec without having to add another instrument on the dash.

I am confused here. What does overlay of weather radar have to do with display of E-TEC engine data? I watched Tom's video and only saw weather radar, no display of E-TEC engine data.

There is new engine display functionality added to the 400/500 cp's by the new update .... I just haven't made a video of it. I'm trying to fugure a way to show the display using the simulation mode.
