I have the same unit in my 20 Outrage and also had the unit in my old Montauk. Although a little pricy, it is the ideal stereo for a center console. You can litterly turn the hose on it full blast which I have done many times on the Montauk and it continues to play. I have never had an issue with it. On the Montauk, I had the small Poly-Planar 3 1/2" speakers mounted in the front of the console. On the Outrage I have the larger speakers. I have never had an issue with the Poly-Planar speakers either. They have been flawless.

This is my second year with this system and I am very satisfied. Sound is great, especially with the sub woofer. I also installed the Polyplanar jack for my iPod input.
The only disappointment was that the station memory needs to be powered to retain channels. I am sure that it uses very little power but Polyplanar couldn't tell me the current draw. As a result, I didn't hook it up and do not miss it.
Not having to deal with a weatherproof face plate enclosure sold me on this system.

I have had my channel memory powered and never have an issue with the current draw. I do not think it draws much at all.

I had this system on my last Montauk and it broke down on me, it fogged up on the screen. I returned it and was sent a new one and until I sold my old Montauk it did not give me a problem.
When my new 19 arrived I decided to purchase the Jenson which has all the inner workings mounted inside the console with only the small control panel mounted on the outside. I liked the idea of not having to drill a large hole in the console and it sounds great. Given it has no CD player just an I-Pod hookup but since the I-Pod came out I don't mess with CD's any more and it's just as waterproof as the Poly.

Thanks for the timely come backs, this is a very pricey unit and I'd like to make the right call.
