I own a [D]ell [Q]uay [M]arlin [C]ruisette 485. We have had our house broken into and the boat keys were amongst items taken. I would therefore like to replace the ignition switch, however my one has no part [number] on it. Can anyone identify it for me or let me know the manufacturer or a supplier. It is the one with the push choke and eight wires attached at the rear.

Wouldn't it just be easier to get a replacement key made for your existing ignition switch?

Generally the ignition switch is an accessory made by the engine manufacturer. I suspect that Dell Quay did not make the engine, and it is probably a standard model. If you give us some details of the engine, we may be able suggest a replacement for the ignition switch.

Take the ignition switch to any boat store. They will give you a replacement for under $20.
