Getting ready to hook up a new [SONAR] on my 2006 170 Montauk. Is there an easy way of running the cable from the console to the transom? The 1997 Montauk I had was easy a straight shot.

Follow the same path that Boston Whaler used to run the engine rigging from the transom to the console.

There may be a pull string in the tunnel. If not by the time you finish, you might leave one there.

I just use a snake to run wires. Most people have one in their home.
