Anyone interested in a So. Cal. meet? I'm thinking Newport Harbor, then a cruise to Dana Point and back. This could easily be accomplished in a day. Just a thought, no specific dates in mind but spring is coming (even though it was 80 degrees last saturday--beautiful!)

Since I'm running a 15'GLS, the ocean is probably not the best idea. What about something like Lake Silverwood, about 1 1/2 hours from Newport?

Lake Silverwood works for me too. I don't really care where, anyplace would be fun. But we need more than 2 boats!

Spring? or Summer? I planning on being down that way in late June. Might be a good reason to bring the 13 if this happens on some sheltered water.

I would be in, how about a trip out to the flats for some fishing? Or come to La Jolla an do some bassing this spring.

15 Sport, all I use it in is the ocean.

For simplicity sake, lets agree on Lake Silverwood. Next step is to agree on a date. I prefer a saturday morning, and would suggest sometime in April (except for the last weekend).

As for an agenda, I haven't a clue as to what goes on at these things. I'm thinking of just meeting at the ramp, bringing beer and sandwiches, then cruising around the lake.

Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Lake Silverwood has some nice camping areas, hot showers for .25 also. Reservations suggested. If something was setup for spring or early summer, I would take a day off, head up there on Thursday night or Friday, and spend the weekend. The Lake has some decent fishing during some periods...
