There's a sand bar between N Wildwood and Stone harbor in the inlet. It's just outside the bridge. It's becoming an island (for some reason, while other jersey shore towns lose their beaches, wildwoods' get bigger). Sunday, my wife, our two kids, my niece and our dog went there for a picnic lunch. I'd never beached my montauk before so I anchored in about two feet of water. I saw two or three other whalers. Anyone from here? Might make a nice spot for a rendevous. The kids and our dog loved it.

Yep, Live in Court House. Used those bars (Champagne Island is the largest, south end of the inlet) often then sold my boat. Restoring a '62 Nauset and will be back there when I finish. Where do you live?

I live outside Philly in Elkins Park. We stay at my wife's family home in the crest. She grew up down there.

I grew up in Sea Isle. My 1969 Katama is there. I used to run my boat from Sea Isle to Wildwood all the time. Hereford would be a great place to get together.

Probably too late for this summer. Maybe we could plan something for next summer.

I live in Media PA and keep my boat in Ocean City, NJ from late August thru June and rent during the summer. I also plan to be in the water 8/28 thru 9/5 and would be interested in hooking up somewhere in Cape May county if anybody is up for it.
