Santa Barbara, California Boston Whaler rendezvous details.
On Saturday October 15th at 9am there will ge a gathering of Boston Whalers at the Santa Barbara boat launch.
Food and beverages will be loaded in to a truck and transported to Goleta beach where picnic tables will be prepared for a BBQ. The Whalers will depart Santa Barbara at 9:30am and motor up the coast 8-miles to Goleta beach. The Goleta Beach park ranger will lower the boarding ramp from below the pier allowing us to disembark and walk over to the picnic area.
All boats will be anchored 100 feet from the pier as per the park rangers request.
Following the pot-luck BBQ we will return to our boats and opt to get in some fishing, whale watching, or return to Santa Barbara.

Thank you for the additional information. I'm sorry we can't come (4 hour drive, other boating plans that day) but wish you a successful event.

The Santa Barbara Boston Whaler Rendezvous took place as planned. The weather did not cooperate and we had high winds and 7 foot swells. Despite this fact 3 Boston Whalers motored up the coast for a BBQ lunch. Everyone had a great time and we would like to thank "Boston Whaler" and "Shock Boats" for their contributions to this event.
