The new 190 was at the Whaler owners event at Kent Island, MD.

It is a beautiful Montauk. Pictures don't do it justice. It is noticeably larger in size when compared to the 170. As it approached from the water you could tell right away it wasn't the 170.

A whaler rep reports this is the very first 190 sold to a customer in the world!

Pics are here:

Couple of Outrage 320 shots too.......

Looks like a beauty! It does seem to have a lower profile than the 19' Outrage. My guess is that it is sevral hundred pounds lighter and maybe has less draft. I hope they offer more than a 115HP on this boat? What has happened to the days when Whaler put 150's on their classic 18' Outrage?

Just saw the new 190 montauk at obms (outboard motor shop) in oakland, ca.
The boat is really nice. Center console is higher. Steering wheel is much higher up. Throttle position is much more comfortable.

No bilge pump. It has thru hull for water to drain out.
The two little steps in the back has a square opening near the bottom so you can store things like sinkers or flares etc...

Its wider and longer. The front v is more pronounced with two lifting strakes.
The anchor locker has a lifting shock so it will open up gently.

There is a live bait well that doubles as a seat, its located in front of the outboard.
Whaler provides a cushion and a backrest. You can remove the backrest and use the rod holders for your rods.

Motor is a 115hp merc. EFI.

I dislike the trailer. It sits too high UP.
Trailer has LED lights and a swing tongue.
