Getting an odor from the vacuflush head. Whaler manual shows a filter for the holding tank that should be changed annualy. Looked in the bilge and can se the tank and vent line, vent is located next to port side fuel tank vent. Don't see the filter, anyone know where it is located?

Can't help you on location of filter. However, I have a suggestion of where to look for source of smell.
The vacuflush holding tank has a big plastic, rubber stopper right on top. Mine popped out putting you know what in the bilge. There is pressure in the tank when the toilet is flushed because of the vacuflush mechanism and if the stopper is not firmly in place, it can pop out.
The tank is under the hull on my 305 Conquest and required a bit of awkward craning to locate the source of the propblem. The fix was simple, finding the stopper, cleaning it up, lubricating it with liquid detergent and putting it firmly back in place and tapping it firmly into place with a rubber mallet. I had to take the batteries out to get at the tank.
There is a holding tank vent on the hull on the port side of the boat. This vent will emit odors from the holding tank if there are any when the toilet is flushed or the boat rolls in rough water. I empty my tank weekly even if the tank is not full and use a product called Orderlos, available at Camping World or other RV store.

BW manual has a diagram of the system and mentions a filter between the tank and the vent. My vent is also on the port side next to the fuel vent. Will have to try and call BW
