No SQUALL boats were produced in 1980 through 1983. SQUALL production restarted for model year 1984 in a different configuration, which had a daggerboard not centerboard; a rudder with two pintles and gudgeons; a sail configuration that was slip-over-mast instead of the previous lateen rigged sail. No Squalls built after 1984 model year. The scans of these Boston Whaler drawings are from an unknown source and some are duplicates. Some are obsolete or incorrect pre-production details. Use with caution. There is much good basic information on the drawings that gives dimensions and material for various components. Unfortunately, the existence of a complete a set of approved final drawings for the Squall available from Boston Whaler is unknown.
