I would suggest the material you inserted into the holes did not cure due to the presence of moisture. Okay, gently put down the tube of 5200 on the ground and slowly step away. 3M5200 and its brother, 3M4200 are adhesives with a sealant element . You want a sealant. 3M xx00 is an adhesive.
Look for Boat Life, Life caulk. It is a polysulfide based sealant.

Irregardless of what drain tube material, you can do one task that will prevent additional water intrusion. After pulling the drain tube, dry the hole with a hair dryer so it is surface dry. Given you used 3M5200 adhesive, you will probably end up destroying the drain tube when you try to remove it. While earlier year models had brass drain tubes, I don't remember the year they changed over. Brass tube install takes a bit more work and technique. Q9: Can you see visually if the fitting ...

Owners with the classic 15 Super Sport with a Mercury 60 FourStroke with the 1.83 lower unit, the recommended prop includes:
13 3/8 x 12 Vengeance
The engine should be mounted 1 hole up meaning the top engine bolts are in the second hole down from the top.

It would help to know the name of the dealer for others to be aware of. That is shameful. Most likely he is deflecting from the news there is a several month wait for a motor as demand has outstripped production of many models across the brands. https://yamahaoutboards.com/en-us/find-a-dealer

Irrespective of whether or not it has a re-enforced transom, there is no practical reason to have this much weight on the transom. The factory will not install engines that exceed the capacity plate. A Guardian 25 could come with a "reinforced" transom. I would be highly concerned of the l...

Tony--my suggestion comes from watching the RNLI in the UK. They retrieve their Severn/Trent class rescue boats (14'm LOA, 28 tonne) by winching them up a long steep ramp via cable, then change to an industrial strap harness for the distance into a boat house. The strap is what keeps them secure.
