A new 180 Dauntless with a few necessary options is about $65,000. Were I about to spend $65,000 on an 18-foot boat I would have to rely more on my own first hand impressions and a sea trial than any comments from a travel oriented cable TV show--having worked in television for more than 40 years I have very little respect for the content it provides.
