Anchor Line Capacity 255 CONQUEST

How much 1/2-inch three-[strand] anchor [line] can be stored in a 255 CONQUEST while still leaving room for the line to fall properly?

How much distance is needed between the top of the pile of line in the anchor locker and the top of the anchor locker in order to meet the somewhat imprecise criterion “still leaving room for the line to fall properly” ?

Most windlass manuals say minimum 12 inch fall is needed.
