A 5-meter open skiff with hull design and dimensions very similar to pre-c.2000 17-foot Boston Whaler hulls is being made and sold in Macedonia and called a REAL 500. The specifications are:

The hull design of the REAL 500 appears striking similar to a Boston Whaler 17-footer.

The length of 5-meters is 16-feet 4.8-inches. The classic Boston Whaler boat is 16-feet 7-inches, so the nominal length is just about identical.

The beam of 1.9-meters is 6-feet 3-inches. The classic Boston Whaler boat is 6-feet 2-inches, so again the nominal width is just about identical.

One inch is 0.025-meters, so the specified dimensions could just be the exact dimensions of the Boston Whaler hull rounded to the nearest 0.1-meter.
