Q1: what has been your first-hand experience with ordering an electrical panel from Ultra Marine?

Q2: what has been your first-hand experience with ordering an electrical panel from Flounder Pounder Marine?

BACKSTORY
I need to replace an faded electrical panel used on a 2006 210 VENTURA.

Ultra Marine and Flounder Pounder have a solid reputation and many Whaler owners sing their praises.

Flounder Pounder offers OEM parts that are overstock so you know the items provenance.

Ultra Panel is a bit on the expensive side and many owners have turned to less expensive options for dash panels not readily available and require custom fabrication. One vendor recommended for this type of work is New Wire Marine, http://www.newwiremarine.com since they have a custom fabrication service that is not prohibitively expensive.

Q4: are there any warehouses that may have remaining stock that are worth checking?

I have used Newwiremarine they were excellent for another panel and Flounder Pounder offer a replica but it is not exactly like OEM.

[The need to purchase of a replacement electrical panel] is not urgent. [The defect in the original electrical panel] is just cosmetic. I want to keep the boat in excellent condition.

I don’t see a method to determine in advance if a surplus Boston Whaler parts re-seller would have the part you want in his inventory without contacting them directly.

A better question to ask might be:

Q5: what marine surplus parts re-sellers are known to have Boston Whaler boat parts in their inventory?
