Re: Information on 1989 OUTRAGE 22 Engine Bracket

I don't see anything about outboard engine brackets that would make them have specificity to, that is, to uniquely apply only to an 1989 OUTRAGE 22. Unless you can inform readers of something uniquely specific about a 1989 OUTRAGE 22 boat that would cause general information about engine brackets to have limited value when applied to an 1989 OUTRAGE 22 hull, I think you would benefit from a reply that offers general advice. In that realm, try reading these articles in the REFERENCE section:

Also, it will be helpful to readers in formulating a reply to your request for information if you gave more information about the particular type of outboard engine bracket about which you are interested in learn information.

For example, please note which of the below characteristics of the bracket are important to you:
  • raising engine mounting height;
  • increasing engine distance from transom;
  • ability to adjust engine height during operation of engine;
  • presence of a buoyancy box to compensate for weight;
  • construction materials, such as aluminum or molded fiberglass;
  • cost;
  • weight;
  • brand.

Further, please explain what you expect to accomplish, that is what improvement is anticipated, from using an outboard engine bracket on a 1989 OUTRAGE 22?
