When removing the drain plug [probably means a transom drain plug on 1998 CONQUEST UNSPECIFIED MODEL] the plastic through hull fitting broke off inside the stern [perhaps means transom]. The fitting looks like it has threads. I was told [by some unknown source] they are not threaded.
Q1: how are broken plastic through hulls on a 1998 CONQUEST UNSPECIFIED MODEL repaired?
[Modeator’s note: when referring to a particular Boston Whaler boat, ALWAYS provide the model year, the family name, and the model indicator. For example: 1990 (model year) OUTRAGE (family) 22 notched transom (model indicator).

Failure of the plastic through hull fittings used by Boston Whaler in that production epoch is apparently rather common.
