I had a 1999 Dauntless 18 for ten years. Great boat.

I’m not sure but I don’t think the size of the previous owner determines the type of propeller for that boat.

Re Figure 1: how were you able to deduce the previous owner was an angler?

When you take possession of the boat and test multiple propellers and record the test conditions, the engine speeds, the boat speeds, and the fuel economy, you can start a new thread about the boat’s performance in the PERFORMANCE forum. When you do please indicate what instruments you used to measure engine speed, boat speed, and rate of fuel flow (to deduce the fuel economy). To identify the propellers being tested be sure to mention the manufacturer and any model designator, as well as the number of blades, the pitch, the diameter, and the general characteristics of the propeller. Also indicate the number of people and amount of gear aboard. Having all that information adds to the value of the data presented.
