Hello, all.

Twenty-two years ago [i.e. in 2003] I did a “restoration-modification” on an OUTRAGE 22 Whaler Drive boat. I brought a rough boat back to line with lots of help from friends on this forum. I learned a lot in the process and I ended up with a cool boat which I fished for a while before deciding to upgrade to a OUTRAGE 27 CUDDY.

After repairing my OUTRAGE 22 I painted it in a dark green Awlgrip. I also had all of the non-skid areas sprayed with Line-X.

The process was documented on this forum, and lots of photos were included, but I can’t find them now. My copies of the restoration photos have been lost.

Q1: has any reader stumbled on archived photos of this project?

I’d love to remind my kids, who are now in their mid-thirties.

(The Awlgrip and Line-X looked cool (to me), and they functioned well, but I’d never do either again, because I think old whalers should be restored to original condition, not remade into something else.)

Are you sure it was on continuousWave, and not on Whaler Central?
