my first whaler. 84' revenge cuddy 22

Postby bac0701 » Fri Jul 29, 2016 2:06 pm

Hello everyone ! I'm a newb I just bought my first whaler. i can't wait to dig in once the weather cools down some here in nj. Im so pumped to finally move to a whaler. I kayak fished for years then sold and moved to an old aqua sport osprey 22 cc. and just scooped this up. its an 84 i was told, but the vin says 85. 22 revenge with the rounded glass. It feels solid as a rock and has been sitting in a driveway for like 6-7 years so she needs some work. It has old twin evinrude 115's on it. I'm hoping to start them and pull them to sell for some money to add into a repower. I plan to pull the tank (poorly sealed so i saw some water in the foam + its old), take down the take with some 80grit and varnish everything. redo all the electrical. and then repower.. hopefully by the spring. I've done a bunch of reading, as much as i want twin 115's on it. the weights a concern. I'm leaning to a yamaha or suzuki F225/250. pics to follow ! happy to join the whaler

A Boston Whaler REVENGE CUDDY model, as seen below on a 25-foot hull, has a wrap-around curved windshield. They are a bit uncommon:
