What is inside of fuel tank drain tube

Postby picflight » Tue Dec 01, 2015 1:23 pm

What the inside of the fuel tank cavity drain tube on a 1998 Outrage 17 looks like.

Viewing from inside the tank leading into the fish locker.

[EDIT]

The video was edited from 6 mins to just over 2 mins long, it provides a view into the drain tube and the original construction of my boat.
I made the video to inspect the path any fluid in the tank cavity takes to exit once the plug on the fish locker side is removed.
It looks like the foam core is exposed in that bulkhead which I intend to correct by building an insulated tunnel for the fluid to escape and keep the tank cavity dry.

I am posting the video as a reference to the curious who would like to see the inside, you can use the scrubber to forward to any interesting parts.

Is it possible to summarize what will be seen in this six-minute long recording?
